So you’re playing Final Fantasy XI.  I’m sure by now that you have realized how much gear and items there are to be had and that in order to obtain these things you are going to need massive amounts of gil.  FFXI Gil is the main form of currency used in the game and let’s face it, you just can’t have enough of it.  When I’m playing a game, especially something as addicting as FFXI, I tend to want to get as much out of it as possible, thus having the best of everything I can.  A very large majority of the weapons, armor and spells in this game are pricey to say the least.  The most common way to make FFXI Gil in the game is probably going to be some type of farming or camping of certain mobs.  If you’re familiar with farming, you will know that it becomes very tedious and it’s a huge time sink.  I have a pretty tight schedule and it doesn’t allow much time for playing the game, so when I do get to play I don’t want to be spending all of my time farming for FFXI Gil.  I want to make the most out of what little play time I have.  You may or may not have dabbled in crafting or gardening, but once again these revolve around FFXI Gil.  In order to level crafting it’s going to take Gil to make Gil.  Sure you can farm the materials needed, but that comes back to farming and not everyone has the time to do so.  I’m all about instant gratification if you know what I mean.
